Precisely.

[The second part, though... Hmm.]

I don't know if there will be a way to undo whatever changes he goes through. While I agree that we should look for one, it may not be best to start assuming that we will find one. Seteth knew the stakes and made his decision anyway; I believe he's already aware that there may be no returning to how he once was.

[It's not pleasant at all, but Iago has never one to rely on optimism and hope, and he's certainly not starting now. He sees no reason to outright lie to Rean either; Rean's clever enough to have this worked out anyway.]

We'll keep our options open and continue examining our surroundings, of course. It certainly is possible we'll stumble across something at some point that will help Seteth, but we must remain cautious.

[it's fine, if iago runs into a creature, he's just gonna throw pizza at it anyway, surely that'll work out well........]

Considering Zangetsu's... display at the trial, the Lady and Rembrandt are going to be very wary. I'm not entirely sure what to make of those creatures, but it seems that messing with them is something we should avoid.

[Will we? Probably not because there are entirely too many crazy people here, but.]

We may be able to learn more about them, however. If new areas become available like last time, we'll want to see what we can learn from them. Perhaps it will shed some light on the connection those creatures have with the Lady and Rembrandt.

Yes. I'm sure we'll be able to determine more about what they are in time. I suspect they follow the same rules as Rembrandt and the Lady - that they won't kill us themselves - but I cannot be sure of that and would prefer not to find out the hard way that I'm wrong.

We have to continue to be careful.

[...]

Which is exactly why we need to avoid a repeat of this trial. Throwing names out there and demanding information— Tch.

[His words pick up speed until he cuts himself off and glances away. Iago's usually fairly composed; he's prone to getting irritated and a bit more riled during the trials, but he's obviously really agitated with this.]

...Never mind. As long as we remain cautious, we'll figure something out.

He derailed us entirely and wasted our time - and to add insult to injury, he likely had that idea to prove it this whole time. Rideaux doesn't care about anyone else - only himself. With his power revealed, he wanted to expose everyone else's as well.

Someone like that... truly irritates me.

[To put it lightly.]

I'm not necessarily opposed to sharing my own power, but to frame it like that and then to accuse me when there was absolutely nothing tying me to Lysithea's murder...

Rideaux went entirely too far with this trial. If he continues to behave in such a way...

[He trails off there, then shakes his head.]

We have more important things to worry about than Rideaux.

That's precisely my concern. One person's opinion means nothing, but when they're loud about it and can sway the rest of the group into acting rashly... Well, it's something to take into consideration, at least.
