I promise I won't do anything stupid. The Lady and I are usually on very good terms, actually.
[those conversations are going to be hilarious when they're unlocked.......]
Rembrandt is honestly the one I'm more worried about. I believe we stand a better chance against the Lady should it turn to a fight, but Rembrandt... That's why I want to speak with him, I need to figure out where we stand with him and where he stands with the Lady.
[Something about that execution is sitting weirdly with him, but he's not sure just what to make of it yet.]
I'm not going to let myself die here. If I do, who are you all going to rely on for tactics?
[he is super useful, please agree with him, rean!!!!]
Haha, I guess that's one good thing in all this, despite her...everything.
[ Those conversations are an Experience, aren't they. ]
Yeah, Rem would be very troublesome if we had to fight him. We've seen what he's capable of and heard what else he was during the meetings. But...I think right now he stands with the Lady, though there could be a chance to work him to our side if we have something that will convince him. I mentioned it in the meeting before last time, but he's said that their desires don't always line up perfectly.
And it's why he let Erik go instead of telling The Lady who would've definitely killed him for the infiltration.
So it's just a theory just now, but I think part of their partnership might work out in a sense that he could be indebted to her, though he's getting something out of it for sure. All the same, I wish you good luck.
[ ...And he'll smile a little here. ]
Honestly, we really do need a reliable tactician to be by our side, so I'll have full faith you'll come back just fine, Iago. Friends need to believe in each other, after all.
I don't believe he's indebted to her, I believe he's working with her because she summoned him, and is offering him something in exchange for his work. I'll be sure to share everything I've learned at our next meeting.
[but also, praise!! and o-oh.]
Friends? Well, I suppose I can't complain too much about that. I appreciate your kind words, Rean.
