Don't touch those! [ Pizza was yelling at trial, but this kind of yell was completely different. Serious and not at all like his usual tone. ]

[ He'll draw his hands away from them immediately as if touching scalding hot water. ]

...Sorry. I didn't know how important they were to you.

Then, it seems like we both have something in common. I mean, I'd been speaking to Kyousuke before all of that happened.

I pulled a prank on Kyousuke with them before. [ And his intent was to use them again in his next prank but... yeah. ]

[ Then they're something that created a precious 'memory'. ]

Well sometimes just normal, inconsequential things. But the last thing we spoke about was the motive and our friends back home.

His friends back home... [ Ah, Pizza hadn't noticed how upset Hyoubu was because he was pretty upset himself. ]

He must have had a lot because he was pretty old. At least for a human.

[ Hyobu never said how many but he could tell from the way he spoke that it was no small number. ]

Pizza, let's continue to do our best together, alright? It'll be hard and I'm not sure what exactly will happen, but we need to keep moving forward, in our own way.

So that Kyousuke and Elliot's lost lives haven't been taken in vain.

I'm...not sure if he considered me a friend. But to me, he was one.

[ Rean laid a hand on his chest, a small, sad smile on his lips, but one nonetheless. ]

He was one to me too. I'm not sure if I can trust you yet, but...

I'd like to get to know you better, Rean. [ The look in his eyes is determined. Hyoubu's last words to him were to not trust anyone here, but at least with Rean this seemed to be different. ]

I understand it'll be hard, going forward, but I meant it when I said I'd support you.

[ Rean offered the other a smile still, meant to be reassuring if anything. ]

I'd like to get to know you better as well, Pizza. As a friend, even if we'd just gotten the chance to barely know one another.
